It is possible to combine the tour with WEEK-END in Istanbul package; early check-in or extension of stay for any number of days are also available.

This is very important. After all, you will get acquainted with Turkey, its cities and monuments, the capital of the Hittite empire Hattusas and Mevlana complex - the center of the Sufi Order of whirling dervishes. ITINERARY:

Sunday – You are met at the airport and taken to the hotel upon arrival to Istanbul. You will be offered spare time or additional services. Dinner.

Monday – Istanbul trip to Hippodrome Square, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, ancient Byzantine Yerebatan Underground Cistern. After moving to the Asian part of Istanbul you will go to the observation deck of Camlica Hill. Bus ride to Ankara (455 km).
Hotel accommodation. Dinner.

TuesdayAnkara tour. Visiting the Museum of Ataturk, the founder of Turkish Republic; the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations (extra charge, about $8), keeping the richest collection of exhibits from different periods of Anatolian history, the citadel of Ankara. Trip to Cappadocia (275 km).
Hotel accommodation. Spare time. Dinner.

Wednesday – Breakfast. Cappadocia trip to Derinkuyu Underground City, Avanos - the city of masters of ceramics, Uchisar fortress. Examination of Goreme cave monastery.
Hotel accommodation. Dinner. Optionally, you will be offered a "Turkish Night" ( (about $25), offering the unique dance of whirling dervishes -  "Dance of ecstasy".

Thursday – Breakfast. Travel to Konya (220 km). Trip to Jelaleddin Rumi's tomb - great Sufi poet, the founder of the order of whirling dervishes. Trip to Pamukkale (415 km).
Hotel accommodation. Spare time. Dinner.

Friday – Breakfast. Examination of ancient Hierapolis cemetery and travertines. Trip to the Aegean Sea. Visit to the House of Virgin Mary and Ephesus with the famous Temple of Artemis.
Hotel accommodation in Cusadasi. Spare time. Dinner.

 

Saturday – Breakfast. Trip to Pergamum - the capital of the kingdom of Pergamon, famous for the altar of Zeus and ancient library, where the world's first book appeared in its present form. Trip and hotel accommodation in Ayvalik.

Spare time. Dinner.

Sunday – Trip to the legendary city of Troy. You will cross the Dardanelles to the European continent. Going back to Istanbul, then back to the airport.

Total: During seven days you will visit 10 ancient and modern cities in Turkey, get acquainted with 5 ancient civilizations of the world, visit Europe and Asia, explore more than 20 unique architectural ensembles and see at least a thousand antiquities, relics, frescoes and statues of no less than 100,000 years old.
